KNITTING

My interest in knitting began in 1965, when I signed up for a class at Sears.  I wanted to learn to make a sweater.  I bought all the materials needed, and after several classes, gave up in defeat.

Fast forward to the 1990’s when a started attending trade shows in the needlework industry.  Once again, my desire to learn to knit was fired up.  Perhaps I had more self confidence, but I taught myself to knit, the desire so great from seeing so many beautiful fibers in the yarn company’s booths.  I have since made numerous articles for myself, grandchildren and friends over the years, but I still have yet to knit myself a sweater!
