Some of these projects involve a technique I developed where the subject is stitched in white threads, and then painted with watered down acrylics.  The paint bleeds and flows into the surrounding background, and is further stitched with more threads that highlight the colors.  This is a  FUN technique and always a success with everyone who has taken the class!

Other projects are more traditional, involving painted canvases.  Many use silk ribbon techniques, beads, and unusual applications of stitches and threads, such as the Christmas Mantle.  Please contact me with questions about any project.
